A Continent on a Plate: The Diversity of Latin American Cuisine

There is no single 'Latin American food.' The label stretches across a continent and the Caribbean, holding kitchens as different from one another as they are from anywhere else. Mexico layers chiles into deep, ancient moles. Argentina worships fire and beef. Brazil simmers feijoada and fries golden pão de queijo. The Caribbean braises, fries plantains, and seasons with sofrito.

What unites them is not a flavor but an attitude: bold seasoning, respect for tradition, and food as an act of hospitality. Many dishes share roots — Indigenous corn and beans, Spanish and Portuguese techniques, African and Asian influences carried across oceans — yet each region tells the story in its own accent.

Our menu is a small tour of that map, from Cuban classics to dishes from across the region. Eat your way around it slowly; every plate has a different homeland.
